Canada’s Top 100 IT Solution Providers

This year’s rankings produced by Channel Daily News (CDN) are based on surveys completed by Canada’s leading Managed IT Service Providers (MSPs) between January and March 2022 and based on 2021 revenue.

This year’s analysis revealed that 2021 was very similar to 2020 in terms of growth (total revenue), key contributors to success and technology trends. Continued client interest in cloud migration helped off-set the negative impacts of the global pandemic. Two key drivers for cloud adoption were identified as simplifying IT operations and enhancing security. This year’s cohort of MSPs ranked because of their ongoing work to build a sustainable base of new clients, grow recurring revenue, diversify the service portfolio, refine their marketing strategy and increase revenue per employee. The largest industry for the channel was identified as professional/business clients with the most valued services being:

• IT consulting
• Managed services
• Security
• Virtualization
• Cloud infrastructure
• Disaster recovery

The top three challenges identified by the channel are:

• Qualified personnel shortages
• Supply chain
• Security
