Small Business BC Awards: Best Workplace

We have some great news to share! We’re a nominee in the Small Business BC Awards for the Best Workplace category. We were a top 10 finalist last year and we would appreciate your support in our efforts to become BC’s best small business workplace!

Nucleus is a culture-first organization that has doubled its workforce in a short period of time. Nucleus has two physical offices in Vancouver and Toronto, but it also has full-time resources (either working from home or in a client’s office) in both Victoria and Montreal. This geographic separation makes it challenging for any business to ensure culture and camaraderie is replicated across Canada. However, Nucleus has created a sports-team like atmosphere by implementing a mix of process and technology solutions to ensure there is no culture gap and that employees are as integrated as possible via video chat, instant messaging, regular company huddles, and weekly multi-office lunch & learns. Nucleus’ mission is to help their clients achieve great things – they also take this approach via their Tech for Kids program by donating used computers to schools to help kids achieve great things. Nucleus was a top 10 finalist last year and is committed to continually investing in its people.
