The IT industry is known for having an abnormal amount of acronyms, and this is also the case in the realm of cybersecurity. We figured we would put together a quick guide of the acronyms you may see or hear to help translate some of the tech-talk. Note, it’s impossible for us to capture ALL of them, but here’s some of the most common IT security acronyms you will encounter in the context of cybersecurity:
